After several hiccups, Vijay’s Kaavalan hit the screens on January 15. The movie, a remake of the Malayalam hit Bodyguard has filmmaker Siddique who directed the original, at the helm of the Tamil version too. Earlier, Siddique had confirmed to DC that he was planning to remake the film in Hindi with Bollywood hunk Salman Khan in the lead.
Now, the news is that Telugu producer Bellamkonda Suresh, who watched Kaavalan, is remaking it in Telugu with actor Venkatesh in the lead role. According to sources, he has approached Siddique to direct the Tollywood version as well.
